Every BWR grade plywood is bonded with improved phenol formaldehyde synthetic resin under controlled temperature and pressure to obtain absolute boiling water resistant bond. It is not surprising that, VIRGO plywood can be successfully used under the severest of tropical climatic conditions.
Features of BWR Plywood
VIRGO BWR plywood is manufactured from high quality veneers of uniform thickness. These veneers are peeled from carefully selected durable hard wood by the fully automatic pneumatically controlled peeling machine.
Regular tests’ according IS: 1734 (Part 1 to 20-1983) are conducted at factory’s laboratory to ensure quality.
Each piece of veneer undergoes preservative treatment as per IS 401:1982 to make it withstand all type of wood destroying organisms, viz. termites, white ants, fungus and other micro-organisms.
