Plywood Quality Testing as Per ISI Specifications
IS: 1734 -1983 (Part I to 20) :-
Tests as per IS: 1734 (Part I to 20)-1983 are conducted at the factory on BWR Plywood to ensure quality
IS 401: 1982 :- Preservative Treatment of Veneer as per IS 401: 1982 to make it withstand all types of wood destroying organisms viz. termites, white ants, fungus and other micro-organisms
IS: 1141-1993 :- Seasoning of timber as per IS: 1141-1993 under controlled temperature and humidity to get uniform moisture
IS:848-1974 :- Bonding of BWR block boards with superior phenol formaldehyde synthetic resin conforming to IS:848-1974
IS:848-1974 :- Hard wood Uniformly dried to the required moisture as per IS: 1141-1991in electronic thermic fluid jet dryers
IS: 4020 : 1999 (part 1 to 17) :- External stress reliving of flush door plywood as per IS: 4020 (part 1 to 17): 1999 specifications
